Why a token gate
JettChat is gated to keep the network costly to abuse and aligned with users who want it to exist. Holding 1 JTX is the lowest bar to entry, and that's by design — the gate is meant to filter automated abuse, not paywall users. Stripe and Tempo CLI fallbacks at $8.88 give wallet-less paths in.
Four tiers, three of them stakeable
JettChat enforces four code-level tiers at the middleware. The top three map directly to the staking tiers on astroknots.space/stake:
